Oftentimes, when an individual chooses to serve his or her country, their family and significant others become their biggest support. The purpose of this blog is to inform civilians of the military lifestyle from the perspective of parents, siblings, children, spouses, and significant others of our United States Military service(wo)men and to shed a light on the benefits and struggles of this "other world."
About Me
My name is Jacquelyn DiLorenzo and I am a senior at Mount Saint Mary College. This blog is my Senior Thesis project, and deals with a topic close to my heart. I am a civilian in a military relationship. Although we have not made it to the "real Army" just yet (my boyfriend is a cadet at West Point), it is in our very near future. Just like most of my readers, I am still learning the ropes of being in a relationship (of any kind) with a service member. I have enlisted the help of many experienced individuals, along with research of my own to create a blog that will be helpful and informative to us all. Happy reading!
